I'm searching for a screen recorder software for Windows 8. I'm strapped for cash so I was hoping for a free one. Any suggestions? I'm using a laptop with an AMD 4600 APU with a Radeon HD 2.30Ghz and 6gigs of ram with over an 800G HD.
I tried using ezvid but could never get it to work properly. I'm not saying that it doesn't work, I'm just saying it never worked for me on this laptop.

Try using the Bandicam trial version it works fine but the max you can record for is 10 minutes if you also want to record your voice when doing this open Sound Recorder in your windows Eight search.Click start recording at start sound recording then click F12 at the same time to start recording with bandicam. You can end the video and recording though then start it back up to continue filming then edit both audio files and both screen recording in Windows Live Movie Maker (or movie maker). Then one you edit it it should cut from seen to seen showing your voice and videos (to add voice click at music then select the audio file and move it where you want in the video) by the way if people say hypercam don't do it doesn't work i promise you i have tried it and it makes it look like minecraft is on a really really bad lag spree

Ezvid is rubbish compared to one I found the other day, it's called 'Fast Stone capture' or somethign like that. There's a video here which allows you hack it c: I too make minecraft videos using this software, there's a little bit of lag for me, but my specs are lower than yours, so I assume it works perfectly on your computer.
It's got great video quality too, and it doesn't cost you a penny!
