Why Can't I Open My Minecraft? - 1

Please Help! When I try to open my minecraft launcher a window comes up and says The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is corrupted. The system can't find the file specified.

I have tried opening and closing it, installing and uninstalling minecraft, and leaving it alone and trying again a few days later. This has been going on since I tried to install single player commands. I believe I might have put a virus on my computer or corrupted it somehow. Please Help ME! Any Information on why this is happening would be useful.

When you uninstall Minecraft make sure you delete All of the files. Reinstalling Minecraft without deleting them all simply means you're loading up the same files as before you reinstalled.
