My friend currently has an (AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.80GHz) processor. I want to upgrade to a Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150 like CPU but what's equivalent to that in an AMD processor. What processor could i use (below $200 USD and Above $120 USD) that can handle mid range games. (LoL, minecraft, Payday 2)

Anthlon II equals a pentium 4 processor. It is not that good. Intel Core i5-4460, fx 8350 ar you two choices, but it depends on your motherboard.

Sorry that is an old CPU and Socket. It doesn't matter which current AMD CPU may come close as they would not be compatible. You'll need a new motherboard and likely new RAM to run a new CPU.
Assuming that your motherboards chipset supports it. The best socket AM3 compatible CPU you can buy is the AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black. Which is pretty decent and close to an old Core i5 in performance.
