What Are The Passwords For WRT160N Router?

The only other easy ones I could think of that you may have set inadvertently (maybe you didn't know what you were doing on router when you first set it up, and thus changed the login password) are.

If the password isn't set to the default one or any of the obvious ones (that is indeed the default as mentioned in the manual) it is likely that someone changed it, the only way you'll be able to access the router in that case (besides guessing the password) is to do a factory reset, which will allow you to login with the default password but will also wipe out your network settings. You can do this by doing the following.

1. Get a pen/pencil/paper clip and locate the reset hole on the back of the router, in the area where all the cables go. Hold the button for 30 seconds with the router plugged in.

2. Once the router is back on, login via ethernet to 192.168.1.1, username: [blank], password: admin.

3. Go to wireless settings do the following.
A: Turn off WPS, it never works and is a security risk.
B: Give your wireless network a name (SSID)
C: Give your wireless network a WPA2 Password for encryption, AES aka CCMP only if possible (TKIP is a security risk).

4. Save your settings and do whatever else you need to do with the router, do note you may need to power cycle your modem to restore your internet connection after you reset the router.
