I have a laptop and I get Wi-Fi from my moms destop computer. If I have a friend come over with his laptop he he connects to the Wi-Fi can I host a lab server on my laptop?

LAN (Local Area Network) is kinda like Bluetooth, you don't need Wi-Fi but you need to be relatively close to eachother to host a server. You will be able to play with him if he comes over as long as you are near eachother.
