How to instal minecraft mods?

Hi, I can kind of give you a guide line, because it's going to take a long time to explain. You should search up minecraft forge which is the software that allows you to use mods. You then run it and install the client. You then run minecraft and edit your profile on the launcher to your forge. Then run minecraft once. On the.minecraft folder you should now have a mods folder. Now drag and drop your mod file into it. Then run your minecraft witch forge and you should have it ready. Be careful with some mods as it can result in lag for your PC/Laptop.
