How to download mods in Minecraft?

Like you I don't know how to and have tried many times but I do know that you need to have installed minecraft forge and save it in downloads/app data/roaming/minecraft for it to work and if you don't have those folders you can make them. Next you need to install the mod you want and save it in those folders but after /minecraft you need a folder called mods and that's where you need to save it. Then try opening minecraft forge and it shoyld come up with something like open client or something and press ok. I don't know much else and I have been trying to install mods myself. Just go to www.planetminecraft.com and you can download modt existing mods. If you can't, then look for the YouTube channel PopularMMOs. They have a ton of amazing mods and modpacks. If not even then, go to the minecraft websites forums and you shouls find it.

Also. Get mjnecraft forge. It is an executable file. Run it and it should say install client. Hit OK. Then hit thr start button and type in run abd type in %appdata%.minecraft
Now a new folder called mods should be there. Place your mod files or folders which you downloaded into this folder.
