There's a big of a difference between getting 60 fps at fast settings with all particles turned off, very low render distance and chunk updates, and 60 fps at max render distance and chunk updates with all particles on along with an HD animated texture pack and multiple hardware-needy mods.

A laptop phh you can build a gaming computer for 300$ forget a laptop unless you want to keep it portable then i suggest the alienware 13 or 17 or some razer computer there's plenty but i strongly suggest you build a gaming computer
