I bought and downloaded minecraft a long time ago and deleted it because i didn't understand it. Now that I have a computer again i want to redownload it, which i know you can do. I've logged into the old acount i purchased it on but it wants me to pay for it again. What's going on? How do I get my game? Can i even get it?

Have you tried contacting Minecraft support? They are really the only people who know if you can get the game back since they are the ones who sold it.

If you played back in Beta, then you need to buy it. If you didn't, then I'd recommend calling Mojang's customer service for assistance.
You can get the launcher back from minecraft.net/downloads, if you need that.
