More information is required: Which mods are you using?
You should be aware that many "Up to date" videos could just be old videos renamed to have the current version of Minecraft on them. An example would be a video for Rei's Minimap on the latest version of Minecraft. There's no way to install that particular mod b/c Rei hasn't made it yet. Be sure to check the official Minecraft Forums for information on all released mods.
