Minecraft Factions Claimed Land?

You can set the permission, although I'm not sure how, you can check with /F perms I believe

If by other people you mean people in your faction, they can access basically everything, only faction moderators can claim land, set the faction home, invite, kick etc.

Players who arent in your faction don't have access to any utilities (chests, furnaces etc) and can't break blocks. They can however claim over your land if your power is weak.

Sandeetwo, I don't mean to be rude, but you are wrong. You are right about what people in your faction can do, but people can open chests and furnaces. If they can blow the wall open, then they can get in and steal items. Brewing stands are effected too. If the enemy keeps spawnkilling the victims, then their power declines, and they can claim your spawnpoint, trap you, and then send you all the way back to spawn.

James, I'm a server owner and own a faction server. The answer to your question is as varied as the faction servers you join. Depending on the owner, and how he sets up the configuration, and what version of factions you use, there are a million different configurations that a player may encounter if he visited a million different servers. In the newer factions, the faction leader can set or deny permissions based on his faction members rank that he gives them. The leader can set everyone to be able to claim land, or just himself. He can set everyone in his faction to open chests or himself only… Now in all faction servers, the owner of the server decides if enemies can open your chests. I believe if you can't open someone's chests when you raid, it is a garbage server, and the owner doesn't know or appreciate factions very well. The server owner can allow your allies to access your doors etc, or no tallow them too. He can allow allies to break blocks on your claimed territory or not allow them too. Like I said, there are so many different servers out there, some run by people who love and appreciate factions, and some run by peeps who don't really know factions at all.
