Cheap pc for gaming, buy new or upgrade?

I don't have much money at the moment I only have around £200, but I want to have a better pc to play games on, games like minecraft, TF2, Civ 5, Dawn Of War. At the moment i can onlty play on minecraft on the lowest settings using OptiFine and still can only play on a maximum of about 15 fps.

I don't know much about my computer as it was my friends old one that he gave to me. All I know about it's specs is that it has an AMD Sempron(tm) Processor LE-1250. I don't know anything else unfortunately.

I want to know if I should buy a new computer or by parts to upgrade my current one. And what computer I could buy for £200 to £400 that would be good enough. Or If upgrading would be better what stuff I should buy.

Please any help would be appreciated.

You can't buy a pc for so little money. You could possibly upgrade your video card, but judging by how ancient that processor is, I doubt even that will help. Save up some more money, you can buy a decent Lenovo laptop for a little over £400-£450 and that will play games.
